Craig’s dad came to visit for his birthday party this past weekend. I’m not sure who enjoyed this snuggle time more.
On Saturday we had a Cars party for Craig’s birthday (I let the kids pick out themes for birthdays, two years ago Ella chose Spiderman). Mr. loves balloons.
The decorations this year were slightly different than last year.
Look, it’s the Piston Cup! (Remember that part in the movie when McQueen tells everyone that Doc is a famous race car and won three Piston Cups? Mater replies, “He did what in his cup?” Hysterical!!).

Ed’s friend Dixie came along for the visit from Dallas, they couldn’t believe all the snow!
I cannot even begin to describe how difficult it was to get these Texans to look at the camera and smile nicely. In fact, what I should do is post all of the unflattering, awful faces they made in an effort to convince them not to do it again. But alas, I am too kind. Although, they had better not mess with me next time or the gloves are coming off!
