I love my Flip!

My friend Michelle bought me a Flip video camera for Christmas and it is the most fun EVER!!! I took this video as soon as I opened the box. Expect to see many more senseless and random videos from me in the future. (FYI, part of the reason I love it is because it’s so easy to save and share videos. As a result, I don’t edit them… I save that task for my husband).

Mr is singing with all of his heart.

(That’s Christmas Vacation playing in the background, love that movie).

Gingerbread House

Another tradition we have at Christmastime is decorating a gingerbread house.

He is always doing crazy things with that tongue, such a “special” little boy.
Poor Sissy Pie, she was just starting to get the fever that would knock her out for the rest of Christmas vacation. Her temp was around 103 for six days and all she did was sleep. She hardly ever gets sick, so it was pretty disappointing for her to be sick on Christmas day.
Help me understand these people at Wilton. There is no way that a regular person could decorate a house that looks like the one on the box. They really need to think about how this makes the end-user feel when their house looks terrible. Maybe a more realistic version on the box would be a good idea.
Mr had so much fun while Uncle Brian was here, I’m so glad that the kids got to spend time with him.
We gave it our best.
I think the reason Mr liked having UB around is because he had someone’s undivided attention.

I posted this video on Facebook a few weeks ago, but I wanted to post it here for those of you not on FB. Poor Ella really wasn’t feeling well, listen to Mr’s astute observation towards the end. I could eat him.

Snowpark Fun

Evan is two!

Jody’s youngest, Connor, had a birthday a week before Mister, that’s why he says that it’s Connor’s birthday. And notice how he changes the subject when I mention the potty. I LOVE having these conversations with him, the talking is just too cute.

He loves that truck book that he is reading, takes it everywhere.

Tech note: video was shot with my new Canon 7D and the 16-35mm II f/2.8 lens.

Happy Birthday Grandma!

We had a wonderful time celebrating Grandma’s 90th birthday, this is just a sneak preview (taken with my 5D Mark II and the 50mm f/1.2 lens set to f/1.6). More images to follow.
